Pravin Kumar is the CEO of Spanco BPO Services Private Limited and a member of the
Board of Directors of Spanco BPO Services Private Limited.
Mr. Kumar is an Industry veteran with more than 35 years of experience during which he has been credited with the creation of three large business empires. Mr. Kumar today is widely respected name in the Business Process Outsourcing space and is regarded as a pioneer in the Domestic Call Center Services in the Country.
Praveen Kumar started his career in 1974 with the Flowmore group for 12 years. He was instrumental in conceptualizing and setting up diverse businesses like Capital Goods, Power and Polyester firms. He spent 19 years with the Dalmia group where he spearheaded various business units ranging from Cement to Textiles to paging services. He was the Managing Director of DSS Mobile Communications; which was a JV between Dalmia's, Samsung and Sunkyong of South Korea. DSS, in 2000 was the largest domestic call center in the country.
Mr. Kumar is also credited with the creation of the "Mobilink" paging brand in India. In 2002, he was one of the shortlists for the Ernst & Young Manager of the year award. Just before joining Spanco, Mr. Kumar was the CEO at Omnia BPO Services, the BPO arm of the Spice Telecom group.
Mr. Kumar is a MBA from BITS Pilani specialization in Finance, Advertising & Sales. He was the first President of Indian Paging Services Association & was also an active member of the Telecom Committee of CII.
Anil Wadhwa heads Business Development in International markets and also serves as CEO for Respondez, the USA and UK BPO business. He has 19 years of experience as an entrepreneur & senior management professional in Telecom System Integration and the BPO industry. He started his career in 1993 as an entrepreneur with business in office automation and telecom system integration space. He was awarded and recognised as the youngest entrepreneur and highest performing partner pan India with key Office Automation, Paging & Telecom Service Provider companies through 1994 to 1999. He holds a Bachelors degree in Commerce from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India.
Anil joined Spanco group in the year 2000, has been a part of the founding team of Spanco’s BPO business and over the years played several leadership & executive roles in shaping company’s organic & inorganic growth strategy that includes establishing joint venture for US market, acquisition in UK markets and direct wins of key outsourcing contracts across the global markets.
Debasish Das reports to the CEO and is responsible for heading the HR function for Spanco BPO Ventures which includes all off-
shore, on-shore and near-shore operations across the globe. Debasish has a long association with the BPO industry.
He has spent over ten years in start-up and large operationally stable BPO companies during this period. Prior to his assignments
in the BPO sector he had spent over 4 years with a Telecom MNC and 8 years with a couple of large blue chip Indian IT companies.
He has extensive experience in design and implementation of HR strategies. He is equally well versed in laying down policies/
processes as well as auditing them. He has spent substantial amount of time as a HR partner to businesses in various companies
and has gained invaluable insights into HR operations. He also has experience in mergers, acquisitions and consulting from a
people management perspective. He was responsible for setting up Indian arms of atleast 2 MNCs and a Center in Manila for a
large Indian BPO company.
Debasish Das has completed Post Graduation in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations from XLRI, Jamshedpur; and B.E.
(Electrical) from NIT, Rourkela, Orissa. He is a Lead Assessor for ISO 9000 and is trained in COPC as well as PCMM.
Amit Bhargava is responsible for handling of new projects, end-to-end migrations and transition of new processes across
geographic locations. He manages project operations till the time process stabilizes and thereafter takes care of interest of client &
organization as a business manager/SPOC.
With over 21 years of professional experience, Amit Bhargava is a keen implementer with abilities in devising effective strategies
for augmenting business, identifying and penetrating new market segments, promoting products for business and process
He is an established performer and has been managing large profit centres with an impeccable track record in operations and
customer service (Inbound / Outbound / Paging / Billing & Collections / Retention activities) across different assignments.
In his current role at Spanco BPO Services, Amit Bhargava is responsible for migration and transition of new processes and
increase in revenue and profitability from existing business. He is conversant with migrations and process transitioning with
hands on experience in setting up new locations / processes pertaining to private sector and government undertaking. He has
successfully migrated and managed several Telecom, Travel, DTH, BFSI, E-Governance and Paging processes.
Amit Bhargava is a B. Tech in Electronics and Telecommunication from J. K. Institute of Applied Physics & Technology, and has
many accolades to his credit.
Vikas Sethi spearheads quality function in process and delivery excellence for both Domestic & International clients.
His career spanning 14 years saw him working with leading optical fiber & cable manufacturers, leading telecom service provider,
top International BPO’s & leading Travel- OLT Portal wherein he was responsible for driving excellence through Six Sigma, Lean
methodologies, strengthening information security and process compliance, highlighting and mitigating process performance
gaps through Internal controls and Audits.
In his present position at Spanco BPO Services, Vikas Sethi is primarily responsible to give strategic direction to operations,
training delivery and quality assurance teams. This is to ensure highest customer satisfaction and quality of services delivered
effectively at optimum cost. He inculcates the Quality DNA by spearheading BPMS (Business Process Mapping Systems), Cost &
Transactional Productivity Measures; Monitoring & Mentoring Improvement Strategy projects, Risk Assessments, MSA
(Measurement System Analysis) through structured value stream mapping, Lean & Six Sigma Tools.
Vikas Sethi is BE (Electronics) from Nagpur University. He is a certified ISO 9001-QMS & ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor and Six
Sigma Black Belt from BMG University.
Yogendra Popli heads the very vital Finance and Accounts Function.
His professional career spanning 11 years gave him opportunity of association and handling professional assignments and audits
of some highly esteemed government organisations and many renowned private companies as well.
In his present assignment at Spanco BPO, Yogendra Popli is responsible for strategic direction to the Accounts and Finance
Department, preparation of timely accounts and internal control, analysis of the financial performance periodically, regular audits
and taxation of the company. He is also responsible for cost control and budget implementation along with the management of
the preparation of periodic MIS to monitor the business performance and financial strength of the company, cost management,
financial statements, budgeting, cash management and internal and external reporting.
Yogendra Popli is a fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India since 1999 and a graduate in Commerce.
Hemant Mehta is responsible for establishing strategy, innovations, engagement guidelines with client IT organization relationships,
oversight of deployment, architecture and SLA delivery of technology solutions for all customer engagements. Prior to working with Respondez, Hemant Mehta worked with WNS Global Services, Sitel India Ltd and Sony Music Entertainment India.
He is an IT & Information Security management professional with 18.6 years experience building and leading award winning, high
performance teams. Hemant is conversant with standards and work practices across multiple geographies and in a variety of client
and internal environments, supports deals/bid evaluation & response generation, manages large scale, enterprise automation
programs, and has direct experience with ISO 27001 and PCI DSS requirements, implementation and IT Governance practices.
Mr. Mehta was also an entrepreneur and has consulted for several companies including T&M Consulting, Shivam Systems, and
Mr. Mehta holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Science and a Diploma in Computer Technology. His professional certifications include
CISM, CCNP, MCSE, CCNA, MCP+I and a Masters in Software Application & Programs. He has undergone professional training in
PMP certification, BS 7799 Implementation of Information Security Management System. Mr. Mehta brings extensive domain
knowledge in the IT Enabled Services/ Contact Center market.
Arshad Mumtaz is the Head of India Operations at Spanco BPO. He is currently responsible for operational excellence and the
organization’s growth pan India.
Arshad brings with himself 16 years of rich experience and a proven record of success. He has been engaged in handling
Customer Service Delivery, Transition, Consulting and Project Management & Process Improvement. Earlier he was employed
with India’s leading telecom company, wherein he served as Vice President and Head, Customer Contact Operations. Prior to that,
Arshad has worked with a number of leading companies in India.
Arshad has strong exposure to quality concepts, optimum manpower calculations and has hands-on exposure in business process
mapping, re-engineering and developing outsourcing solutions.
Setting the growth vision in terms of exceeding internal and external customer requirements, working out strategies to meet
business objectives, maintaining motivational levels of the employees, sourcing and career planning of large teams and managing
vendor relationships are his strengths.
Arshad Mumtaz holds Bachelor of Commerce degree from the St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata. He is COPC trained and Six Sigma
certified and has completed 4 Six Sigma Green Belt Projects and has championed 50 projects as a Black Belt Champion. He has a
thirst for quality and his motto is - doing it right the first time, every time.
Mr. Tripathi heads an imperative function in the organization. He has rich experience in the BPO industry with more than 32 years of experience in Engineering, Purchase and Projects implementation during which he has been accredited with the Project execution of a large number of Domestic Call Center across the country.
Mr. Tripathi started his career in 1978 with Indian Air Force for 15 years. Mr. Tripathi was the General Manager-Projects & Electricals at Spice BPO Services, the BPO arm of the Spice Telecom group.
Mr. Tripathi is an M.Tech from IIT Delhi with specialization in Energy & Environment Management, M.E. in Electrical Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering with specialization in Power Apparatus & System and also a Member of the Institution of Engineers (India).
Vinod Nathani is responsible for leading the Business Operations team as well as managing the MRS collections alliance
Mr. Nathani's expertise in the domain of collections is extensive and in his career he has been instrumental in setting up
collections and skip tracing processes, process transitions, training structures, infrastructure setup, vendor management,
measurement systems, and call quality processes. At Respondez, he is effectively capitalizing on the core business strengths of his
team to further drive the process and its’ members towards excellence. In a short span of time, Vinod has built a team of
competent individuals possessing high integrity and credibility.
Mr. Nathani holds a Bachelors degree in Commerce from the University of Mumbai in Commerce and a Diploma in management
studies in leadership from Jakarta Indonesia. He brings more than 16 years of professional experience, nine of which are
specialized in asset recovery, first- and third-party collections
Jay joined Respondez in August 2006, bringing 20 years of management experience from technology and professional services
industry. During this time, Jay has developed thriving European operations focused on excellence in Customer service.
Ricky joined Spanco Ltd (India Operations) in 2002 and is currently responsible for the business delivery of UK Site (Spanco
Europe Ltd). With over 12 years of rich experience in Operations and Process Excellence he has worked in companies like E-funds
International (Now FIS Global) and Air India. He has been instrumental in business growth over the years as a core team member,
through end to end account management of key accounts including structured project implementation, effective resource
planning and quality client relations. Respondez has seen him manage diverse business operations for key clients in varied
verticals, all of which have witnessed tremendous growth. He is known for his introduction and implementation of varied neoteric
practices in the organisation.
Sue joined Respondez in November 2007, bringing more than 15 years marketing and outsourcing experience, most recently with
Teleperformance (Sales Director) and Inkfish call centres (Sales and Marketing Director). Sue is passionate about customer service
and believes that it starts with the recruitment of positive and motivated teams. Her experience spans training, operations,
consultancy, marketing and business development.
An astute business professional with more than 20 years of exposure to both European and African way of managing call center operations.
Ibrahima has worked in the telecommunications industry in different portfolio including the positions of Managing Director, Chief Commercial Officer, Call Center Manager, Head of Call Center in charge of Corporate and Roaming, and Group Marketing Director. His determination, exceptional qualities and entrepreneurial acumen have ensured his continuous success in all the 16 countries in Africa and other parts of the world where he has worked.
He has completed his studies from the Business School – Ecole des Cadres (Neuilly)
Sanjeev has rich experience in the BPO and electronic industries. Prior to joining us he was working with Spice BPO.
He has also worked with companies like Sparsh BPO, DSS Mobile, ECIL and Hindustan Aeronautics, etc.
He has completed Electronics & Communication Engineer and Diploma in Management.
Tejinder Singh Bhatia has over 18 years of experience in holding various senior management positions at eminent organizations.
Under his leadership, business achieved significant growth, much faster than the market average.
At Spanco he plays a key role in growing the Spanco GKS business. The two BPO units in Qatar and Oman are solely his efforts
and the responsibility of their management rests entirely in his hands.
Tejinder Singh Bhatia has won a number of honours and prestigious awards. Some key awards include Gold Award in service
category by Oman Web Awards, Largest OSP (>300 Seats) in Middle East by Insights, Best Internally developed application; all are
testament to his dedication and industry expertise.
Tejinder Singh Bhatia is a postgraduate in commerce and economics from Delhi University, and holds a Master's degree in
Business Management. He has also completed MCSE+I, PGDCA & Six Sigma.
Nitin has excellent exposure in IT in the areas of infrastructure setup, including planning and design, transitioning of projects, end to end service Delivery, Operations, Technology Solutioning, new product evaluations and Disaster Recovery Planning.
Prior to joining us, he was working with Genpact as Vice President – IT. He has also worked with Wipro BPO, Xansa, Unicorp Industries, Zenith Computers, TATA Infotech and DDE ORG Systems.
He is an M.Tech (Management & Systems) from IIT Delhi
Mr. Maheshwari is responsible for handling Internal Audit, MIS, and Compliance Function. He is a is a Qualified chartered accountant and seasoned professional in managing overall Finance function encompassing Strategic Planning and Project Evaluation as well as Statutory Compliance across varied industry verticals.
He holds a very strong Professional Career and Pedigree spanning over 32 years in large setups in industrial sectors like Mobile Communications, Chemicals, Real Estate and Polymers. He also had a strong and long professional stint with DSS Mobile Communications at the capacity of Senior Vice President, and also held invigorative assignments with business corporations like 21st Century Oleochemicals ( Malaysia), India Tele-comp limited, Fair Morse India Limited, Trans-asia Carpets limited.
Mr. Suri is a Seasoned Management Professional with over 26 years of Professional Experience in diverse industrial and service sectors, with phenomenal exposure to Training, Quality, Business Process Re-engineering, Business Excellence, Performance and Knowledge Management domains.
He holds a very strong Professional Career Pedigree spanning over 26 years in large setups in Manufacturing, Service and BPO Industry. He also had various substantial stints with Tracmail India Private Limited and Customer One Contact Centers at the capacity of Vice President Quality. He waseffective in driving Six Sigma efforts to meet process improvement targets, project approvals, mentoring of green and black belt and fostering a six sigma culture through the organization. He also played an important role in ISO 9000 and COPC Certification
Randy Taylor is responsible for building and sustaining executive-level relationships with clients, and ensuring complete
satisfaction to increase life-time value. He also develops key stategic partnerships that align with our business objectives and
creates strategic sales initiatives to meet the company's growth projections.
Prior to joining, Mr. Taylor held executive sales positions at OSI, where he took them into the early outsourcing services space, and SR Teleperformance, where he grew the North American BPO and Outsourcing presence and lead the addition of a nearshore call center in the Dominican Republic. He is credited with launching Ford's first offshore campaign, and also worked at SmartReply to develop and lead their entry into the voice-messaging market.
Mr.Taylor graduated from Texas A&M University with a BA in Business Administration. He has more than 25 years of consulting and sales experinces with large enterprise and Fortune 500 companies.
